Weston S Mare - Open Singles 2012 |

| Open Singles Competition. May 2012. Well done and congratulations to Nancy Cheeseman. Nancy together with 53 other visually impaired bowlers from all parts of the country took part in the above event. Each bowler played two games each day over four days. Nancy by winning 7 games and drawing 1.game took the overall silver medal and won the top lady bowler award. Ron Homer also took part in the event but sadly was unable to retain the title he won last year. Many thanks to Dennis Pressley and Brian Colvin for their help and advice on the Green.

| Congratulations to the Yeovil bowlers at the Open
singles competition held at Clarence Park, Weston s Mare, 6th - 9th May
2011. 48 bowlers took part in the event. Each bowler played 6 games over the three days. Well done to Ron Homer, Ron, by winning all of his 6 games and with a shot difference of plus 83 took the winners trophy. Both Colin Stockford and Nancy Cheeseman also won all of their 6 games, Colin with a shot difference of plus 75 was awarded the bronze medal and Nancy with plus 70 gained the top lady trophy. Only one other bowler, local man Bob Rossiter, won all 6 games and with a shot difference of plus 78 won the silver medal.
