How we play the game of Bowls

If you are registered blind or partially sighted, over the age of 16 and looking for an interesting active pastime then this could be for you.

Our members meet on one morning each week for two hours  to enjoy a friendly game of bowls.  The summer season ( May to September )  bowling takes place on a Tuesday morning and the winter season indoor bowling is on a Tuesday morning.  Our club has several sighted experienced bowlers that help with guidance, tuition and support.

We are a friendly lot and after a chat and a coffee.  Our team captain Nancy with help from Bill will sort us out into teams of pairs or triples and we will enjoy a game of bowls.  Our sighted helpers are on hand to offer help and advice and there is always someone available to help you find your way around the club.
We provide equipment so there is no initial financial outlay.
